This clinic covers training for the working cow horses and cowboys or cowgirls that ride them. Students will learn about the tools of the trade for working the open range such as different saddles, bits, ropes, tie strings, and other equipment. Training includes teaching the cow horse to watch cattle, gather, sort, etc... open and close gates horseback, cross water, bridges, roping techniques, as wells as a basic understanding of the horse and human relationship and working partnership.
